Enjoyable and peaceful.

The Birdhouse is a real little gem nestled at the foot of the mountain in Kampersrus near Hoedspruit. It is a great base to explore from, but also a lovely destination for a peaceful and relaxing stay. It is an utterly charming place. We enjoyed the delicate attention to fine detail with quirky birds all around that pays homage to the very apt name The Birdhouse. The original art on the walls and the colour scheme are tasteful and effective. The place is well equipped and caters for every need. The modern finishes add a lovely upmarket feel. The abundance of real butterflies and birds in the well-planned garden makes your stay all the more enjoyable and peaceful. Lovely attention to fine detail and every comfort that you can wish for. The place is sparkly clean and the hosts were warm and inviting. What a lovely stay.

Fantastic.

We had a fantastic stay in a brand new unit. Very comfortable with everything we needed. The hosts are fantastic people, warm and welcoming and very accommodating. We will definitely be back.
