The Boathouse @ Beacon Vlei Guest Farm

Absolutely fantastic. A place where one can really rest.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boathouse. We woke up to a winter wonderland! Snow all around. It was beautiful. The owners are kind and friendly. The house is very spacious and the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. We only stayed 1 night, so we will definitely be back.

Lekker gebly.

Baie lekker gebly. Dit was skoon en netjies, maar daar is 'n paar items wat opgradering kort.

A nice break from the rat race.

The Boathouse is a shining example of the Midlands Meander's best qualities. It is tranquil and awe-inspiring - the perfect escape from the rush of city life. The soothing dam surrounded by forests and hills gives an almost 'magical' atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean, but not exempt from the occasional critter. You can expect a good night's rest from the beds, provided you do not fear the apparent security risk.

Quant, cottage, countryside.

Quant English country style cottage that used to be a boathouse. The dam was nice and full, beautiful to fish.
