Magical getaway with young kids for the weekend. Swimming, fishing and chilling - lost in the tranquility of the view and wildlife and the peace and quiet! Did WhatsApp message the minor few issues we had. Otherwise was great.

Relaxing, clean and enjoyable.

Neat, clean, well maintained. Everything we needed to enjoy our weekend away was provided for us. Will definitely be rebooking.

Hierdie is 'n baie lekker plek om te bly. Dit is skoon en die kuierarea maak dit so gesellig.

Gorgeous location marred by active, noisy business next door.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, as we always do at the Breede. Our stay at this property was marred by the fact that there is an active business next door (gardening, cleaning, and possibly more, including what appears to be a boat repair service) with consequent noise and traffic (the business and the holiday house are only meters apart). We found the incursion of the business staff onto the property on foot and in vehicles (to render services to all the properties along that stretch) intrusive, but the owner has indicated he will address this with the business.

Pragtige huis op die rivier.

Perfekte huis vir gesin met kinders. Groot oop grasperke, mooi uitsigte, lekker kuierstoep en kaggel binne vir die koue dae. Daar is ook 'n wynkelder om die hoek wat oop is op Saterdag.

Ontspannend.

Die huis was ruim, skoon en het alles gehad wat ons nodig gehad het. Die grasperk was ideaal vir kleiner kinders en die rivier letterlik op die voorstoep. Daar is lekker braaigeriewe op die stoep wat uitkyk op die rivier en die kombuis met die skottelgoedwasser was 'n bonus! Die pad is nogal steil tot onder en WiFi sal aanbeveel word. Verder was alles puik!

We had quality family time.

Very child friendly as we could take long walks along the river and there is more than enough space for bicycles.

Perfekte ligging.

Teleurgesteld. Baie ligte dood, borde in kas vuil vol harde kos, huis was nie mooi skoon en voorbereid vir ons aankoms nie. Ons moes maar vee en emmers rondskuif, nat lekkolle. Vir die prys was dit nogal vir my 'n teleurstelling met aankoms. Andersins heerlik gekuier.

A lovely quiet getaway.

The house was comfortable and and plenty on offer, 2 fridges were a win! Especially if you a big group. 4 bathrooms ie. an en suite for each room, was awesome! Great lawn in front of the house to hang out on a hot day. Ticks many boxes! And not much to improve on, besides maybe a sign board at each turn for the house, some of our friends got lost.

Fantastic holiday house will all amenities and great position.

We stayed at The Breede River Getaway House in early Jan 2019 as a family. The house has all necessary equipment and facilities for a great holiday. The house is positioned for peace and tranquillity on the water, and offers fantastic slipway and private jetty and docking facilities on the property for boating/fishing enthusiasts. The house is laid out nicely with a wonderful balcony area with built-in braai overlooking the water which really created a good gathering spot for us in the warmer part of the day when shelter was needed and our gathering spot in the evenings for great braai's, conversation and games evenings. Highly recommended!

Heerlik rustig met panoramiese uitsig en goeie toegang tot rivier.

Ideaal vir groepe en gesinne met kinders 5 jaar en ouer a.g.v. trappe. Pragtige grasperk. Heerlike kuierstoep met uitsig op rivier. Gerieflike beddens en heerlik dat elke kamer eie badkamer het.

Pragtige plek. Sal weer gaan. Kan kyk dat alle potte en panne deksels het en kan regtig skottelgoedseep en genoeg toiletpapier bysit.

Fantasties op die rivier, lekker privaat.

What a wonderful, cosy and comfortable house. We loved the view of the river from the deck. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer!

Tranquillity at its best!

One of the best weekends spent in the most serene setting. The Breede River Getaway Home exceeded our expectations. We will certainly be coming back to this perfect spot. Had a most fantastic family weekend. Thank you.

'n Lieflike huis en gesellig! Heerlik vir die kinders.

Sal definitief weer daar kom bly. Net jammer van huis langsaan wat 'n gesondheidsrisiko inhou en bouvallig is met kinders wat dalk daar kan gaan rondloop. Maar besef dit het niks met die eienaars te doen nie, maar dalk net probeer afkamp indien moontlik sodat kinders nie daar kan in nie.

'n Heerlike, rustige naweek met 'n mooi uitsig in 'n lekker leefhuis.

Dit is regtig 'n heerlike, skoon leefhuis met alles wat mens nodig het. Wens die naweek was langer ...

Baie rustig en ontspanne.

Ligging van huis langs rivier is goed. Die enigste ongerieflikheid is dat die water nie drinkbaar is nie, en vullis moet redelik ver geneem word om weggegooi te word. Dit sou nog beter wees as die eenhede toegerus was met lugversorgers. Andersins was ons tydjie daar goed en ons sal definitief weer soontoe gaan.
