Loved the peace and tranquility of the place. Jane is an excellent and helpful host. Stunning breakfast at the Cafe ... ate too much bread!!! We will definitely visit again.

A pleasant location with friendly service and beautiful surroundings.

The service was very good, as we as group (3 couples) came and left at different times and everything was in place. The people were ready to assist in any way they could and Jane was very helpful.

Very nice and spaceous apartment at the edge of the town

Very nice and spacious apartment that was very well equipped with all a traveller could need. Situated at the entrance to town very close to the main road and therefore noisy due to traffic passing. Apartments are still new but already some building failures are showing (floor tiles). This needs to be fixed soonest to avoid further damage. Mountain area is beautiful and ideal for day hikes.

Spacious, clean and beautifully deorated self catering rooms in Clarens

This was our first visit to Clarens. I did a lot of searching and investigation on the accommodation in and around Clarens. When I saw Courtyard's bedrooms on the website, I immediately secure out booking. Still we were astonished by the large, spacious rooms, crisp linen and towels and beautiful decor. The owners are lovely friendly people and went out of their way to help us. Don't miss their cheesecake.We will be back next year with our kids.

Clean, safe & convenient, and stellar customer service

The B & B was in a safe & convenient area, and very clean. Stellar customer service - they gave us access to a shower in another room when my mother-in-law had difficulties with the tub. Breakfast was yummy, too.

We had a lovely stay - thank you to Jane and her team.

NThe location is very convenient, however there is a night club or bar close to the B&B which was quite noisy and we were a bit concerned about the noise and potential security. In the end, neither were issues as the music was stopped sharply at midnight and the guests appeared to move away quickly and without fuss. I would recommend this B&B to our friends.

My friend and I loved the spacious rooms and white linen. Cafe highly recommended.

We were welcomed warmly, the rooms were clean, neat and cosy. Kitchen fully ecquiped, although we preferred to eat the most delicious food at the Cafe. Parking safe. Even street parking was safe! Only problem was nearby bar where there was some noise, but not too bad.

We were very warmly welcomed and enjoyed our stay!

It was great and we will recommend the Courtyard to anybody traveling in that direction. It is so nice to walk into a place that is clean, "homely" furnished, and nicely situated! The hosts were very accommodating, and also very chatty and interesting! We would definitely stay there again!!

Good Service. Clean rooms. Staff very friendly.

The room we stayed in was clean and well equipped, and the service was nothing short of brilliant - the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was very good and I really liked the design of the café and the guest house, as it has a European feel. The only draw back I can mention is that the guest house is situated at the entrance of Clarens so there is a lot of traffic noise from the Bethlehem Golden Gate road. The bar down the road was also very noisy on Friday night, however the music stopped at 12pm. All in all a wonderful place to stay if you want classic architecture, great food and amazing service.

Good value, nice and spacious, close enough to town.

One night stay. Good space, lounge could do with a proper couch,more than one extra blanket for the bed, a bigger cupboard in the bedroom and a larger shower in the bathroom. Extra firewood for the fireplace would have been nice. Good overall.
