I enjoyed my stay very much. Pet friendly. The airport shuttle was very convenient. The accommodation was huge, with a spacious bedroom and massive lounge area. Fridge, TV, microwave and kettle were provided. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the hospitality. The owner welcomed my mother, daughter and me very warmly. The upstairs room was very spacious with a well-stocked fridge, a living room area to enjoy. It had a lovely aerial view, very comfortable beds and easy entrance and exit. Overall, a lovely stay.

Vriendelike en warm ontvangs en behulpsaamheid.

Die bespreking was vir 'n vriend wat by UKZN sy honneurs in Teologie gaan doen. Hy het 'n baie warm en vriendelike verwelkoming gehad en die eienaar het uit sy pad gegaan om hom behulpsaam te wees. Hy het sy verblyf geniet en het gesê dit is goeie waarde vir geld.

We did not stay at The Crafty Coal Stove as it couldn't accommodate the 5 adults comfortably.

The place looked like no one had attended to it. Right when you enter, you are hit by a smell of mold and wet carpet. There is a thin pathway in which to walk because there was a lot of clutter everywhere. It did not look anything like what we saw on the booking because we had seen it to have multiple rooms, only to find a single bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds in the same room. The beds and bed sheets looked unkempt. Basically, the whole place didn't look healthy to stay in.

Good food and service with a smile.

Leendert and his family was very accommodating with any and all requests. Can happily recommend them if you're looking for a stopover or short stay in Pietermaritzburg.

Good place to stay and get up and go.

Host was very helpful and accommodating. It was my first loft experience with which I felt very comfortable.

He stayed because it was paid for and too late to find another place.

He mentioned that he could get a better place than what he paid for. His second accommodation was around the same rate and the service in all categories was pleasing.

Place very dirty, mould in fridge.

Not worth the money charged, the towels provided were all torn, and surface areas were very dirty, toothbrush glass in the bathroom looked like haven't been cleaned for months inside and mould in the fridge.

Aangenaam en rustig en vriendelike, Afrkaanse mense.

Very basic, looks like it has been put together in a hurry, poor finishes, especially in bathroom.

Shower head too low for even a person of average height. Hot / cold indicator on basin tap wrong way round resulting in unnecessary wait for hot water and resultant water wastage. Redeeming factor was being close to where I was doing business. Will not choose again. I am sure there is better, but you get what you pay for! It appears a lot of B&Bs were full at the time.

Blyplek en beddegoed is stowwerig en alles is baie vuil.

Sal beslis nie die blyplek aanbeveel nie. Geen skoonmaakdiens! Geen ordentlike parkering - honde spring teen jou voertuig op en los krapmerke. Tuin is oorgroei. Ontbytpap is stokoud en geen melk voorsien.
