South Africa is experiencing a high consumption of electricity and therefore we are experiencing power outages (which is known as load shedding) on a daily basis in order to slowly reduce the usage of electricity. However, The Majestic Village has a backup generator that powers up the whole village so the guests are unaffected by load shedding during their stay.
