Tucked away in the heart of the Midlands, The Fisherman’s Cottage is a beautiful self-catering holiday home on the owner’s working farm, just outside of Mooi River. Boasting unspoiled views of the nearby dam and surrounding nature, this home is a great choice for friends and family who are looking for a peaceful getaway.
The home can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. All 4 of the bedrooms are furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds upon request. Teh first bedroom’s en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower, while the 3 other bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms that are fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with 2 fridge-freezers, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities and 2 breakfast bars with stools. A washing machine is available for added convenience. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and for guests entertainment there is a fireplace and a TV with DStv. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can enjoy an indoor braai, an outdoor patio with outdoor furniture, a firepit and panoramic views of the surrounding nature. Activities like catch-and-release fishing in the trout dam and exploring the farm can be enjoyed. Secure parking is available on the premises. This property is approximately 16 km outside of Mooi River where guests can find local amenities such as shops and restaurants.
