House Rules
Things to note:
- There are two 4.5kg powder fire extinguishers, one in the kitchenette and one in the main bedroom.
- There is a rechargeable battery for electricity load-shedding periods.
- There is a padlocked security gate to the upstairs sleeping accommodation.
House Rules:
- No naked flames except at internal braai and fireplace.
- Smoking only permitted downstairs and outside.
- The property has a Septic tank system - please use the bin provided for hygiene waste products.
- Fireplace - please build a fire well back within the fireplace to obviate smoking out the lapa.
- External braai area - please braai on the designated paving slab braai area. Keep any flames well away from the thatch.
- No candles and fuel lamps are allowed.
- Use of the pool is at own risk - the pool is closed at 10 pm. The pool is unfenced and uncovered. Guests to supervise any children in or adjacent to the pool.
- No loud music after 9 pm
- In agreement with guests’ evening travel movements, the hosts will close and lock the extra driveway gates.
- Pets are welcome by arrangement, and are to be kept indoors except when walking dogs walking on a leash, The hosts have dogs that reside on the premises. Mutual coordination of dogs being exercised needs to be agreed and confirmed.
