A fairly pleasurable stay.

The first night was a bit of a nightmare. There was no hot water and no electricity. The following day the gate was not working, so we could not get out. When the electricity came on, everything was better the second night.

Safe and clean but not friendly.

The host was not very welcoming and could improve in making guests feel more at home. Given the price, basic amenities such as bottled water and coffee or tea facilities would have been appreciated. Although there was milk in the fridge, it had gone bad. The night was quite uncomfortable due to mosquitoes in the room and an extremely hard bed. The property is situated near a bushy area, possibly with a swamp across from it. WiFi was there but reception was poor as we struggled to watch TV. The bed itself was in poor condition—hard, uneven, and noisy—making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. We were so uncomfortable that we decided to leave early.

Lovely, clean, rooms are warm and beautiful.

It was very lovely to have stayed at The Lux - I would like to add that it would have been more comfortable to have had more items in the self-catering unit such as drinking glasses, cloths to dry the kitchenware and sponges to wash the dishes.

Nie waarde vir geld nie.

Wasbak lek. Water te warm of te koud. Kon nie stort nie. Plek kort aandag. Bed het lekker geslaap, maar afwerking van kamer is swak. Sou nie weer inboek nie.
