The apartment exceeded my expectations.

Love this place and all its extras. After a long flight and late arrival, the coffee and rusks were very welcoming. Beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment. Good location. I recommend booking the parking, seeing that the street parking is limited. A house number at the garage would be of great help to identify the entry. There are so many extras that make for a very enjoyable stay; I felt spoiled.

Very comfortable and well equipped.

Had a great stay in the Sun Light Serenity apartment for 2 nights on our family holiday. Very comfortable and well equipped. Everything is new and fresh, which was a welcome relief compared to a lot of other accommodation on offer in the Sea Point area. Centrally located, within walking distance from a number of restaurants and not too far from the promenade where you can see the most spectacular sunsets over the sea. Hopefully we will be back again soon!

Comfortable, airy flat in good location.

The flat was beautifully furnished, spacious and airy due to the high ceilings. Fittings and furnishings are of a high standard. We enjoyed our comfortable stay. Some additional facilities required: electrical socket at bathroom mirror for hair dryer or another mirror near a socket; larger heater in bedroom for cold wintry nights; in kitchen, prepping bowls, colander, water jug, place mats (for glass dining table), tea pot would be useful for those of us who prefer to cook. Communication regarding self check-in needs improvement. We had to contact Amina three times to get pin codes for entry and parking. Front gate does not lock easily and is often left unlocked by other guests. We found the door to the building also unlocked on arrival. On one day our flat was occupied from 10am to 3.30pm as the jacuzzi was being repaired. We stayed out of the flat to avoid compromise to our privacy. Repairs should be done when there are no bookings.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate your suggestions and will take them into consideration for future guests. I'd like to clarify a few points. There is a mirror inside the cupboard with a nearby socket, and we've provided bowls in the apartment, focusing on essential items to ensure you have plenty of storage space for your groceries. For water storage, a glass water bottle is specifically provided. Regarding the teapot, our complimentary tea bags don’t require one, but we do offer a coffee machine, kettle, pots, and pans for your convenience.

Self-check-in information is sent to the email address provided by the guest, so it’s important to check this before arrival to ensure you have all the necessary details. Amina also assisted promptly when you contacted her, so it is not accurate to say she needed to be contacted three times.

The issue with the gate being left open was communicated to all guests as soon as we were informed, and it was only reported once during your six-day stay. As for the maintenance, Amina contacted you in advance and you agreed to the work being done while you were out, and she also oversaw the work from outside. The work was completed by the time you returned, with the team simply packing up when you arrived.

We appreciate your compliments on the apartment's furnishings and spaciousness and are glad you enjoyed your stay despite these concerns. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.
