Central, affordable, spacious house with a nice braai room.

The house is perfect for a group of long-time friends just wanting to get away from work, relax and play some golf. It's really central and close to the beach for swims. We really enjoyed our stay.

Gerieflik, goed toegerus en ontspannend.

Die huis en die ligging daarvan was vir ons as gesin met kleuters perfek. Letterlik 5 minute se stap na 'n pragtige strand. Stil omgewing. Omheinde agterplaas waar ons kleuters veilig kon speel en hul bal skop. Geriewe in baie goeie toestand en baie netjies. Naby genoeg aan die winkelssentrum (10 minute se ry), selfs vir aanlyn-afleweringsbestellings. Ons sal weer tuisgaan by hierdie huis. Ons het heerlik en gemaklik daar gekuier.

Fantastiese verblyf.

Ons het baie lekker gebly! Die huis is skoon en netjies met alles wat jy mag nodig hê. Dit is lekker naby die strand en die kuierareas is lekker ruim. Ons sal die verblyf beslis aanbeveel en weer hier oorbly.

Die huis was skoon, het als wat jy benodig, ligging is baie sentraal en naby lekker restaurante en die mall vir inkopies.

Het die naweek baie geniet, wou sommer nog 'n paar dae bly!

A very comfortable stay, but no usable beach within walking distance.

Nice spacious house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths (main en-suite). All beds fitted with good quality linen. The main bedroom was a bit short of furniture with no dresser or mirror. Good sized living area and well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and gas hob. Nice braai room with a big table. No outdoor braai area. Some of the lights in the house are fitted with 'loadshedding' globes so they stay on for a few hours even when the power is off. The WiFi has a small UPS so it also stays operational during loadshedding. The house is not a beachside property, although it is a short walk to the local beach (5 mins). The beach is not suitable for swimming, especially not for small children, as it is steep with a strong backwash. The drive to Main beach on the lagoon is about 10 - 15 minutes away (a safe beach for children). The house is located in an estate so it seems quite safe, although it is not a gated estate. On the negative side, the garden was a bit derelict, with weeds everywhere. The small grass area at the braai room was neat though. Also, to be a bit picky, the bathroom sanitary ware is terrible. Taps and shower all work but need to be replaced. Overall, an enjoyable stay. Good position for exploring the surrounding area.

Puik plek met lekker ruimte vir hele gesin.

Vreeslik lekker, baie netjies en skoon. Sal dit aanbeveel vir almal.

Die ligging is baie nice. Lekker stil en rustige omgeweing. Is stapafstand van die strand af en hulle diens was uitstekend.

Dit was vetpret!

Lekker naby die strand en die winkels. Leef en braai-area is groot genoeg vir 6/7 mense! Die huis is in 'n stil en rustige omgewing.

The Pelican, an awesome weekend away.

We were 4 adults with 3 children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Nita was super professional and warm, with swift communication. The house was found to be in very clean state with crisp fresh white linen and all facilities as described were available and ready for use! The house is situated 2 minutes from shopping locations and about a 2 minute walk to an almost private beach, also its location sees low volume traffic, ideal for the little ones and their skateboards. Will definitely be back! Thanks Nita, we had a wonderful weekend!

We really enjoyed and it's real five star accommodation.

It has value for money and we will use the Pelican again.
