Overlooking the Albert Falls Dam towards the Karkloof hills, Guests need only to relax, unwind, and be themselves. This rustic farmstyle stay offers a down to earth environment with comfort and convenience.

The View is a 2 bedroom garden-cottage set next to the main residence. Each en-suite bedroom has an entrance from the veranda, as well as several outdoor sitting areas to choose between. The mini lounge is accessible directly from Room 2 with external access as well. For families with children, two beds can be set up in the lounge to create a lovely family unit. The rooms all have a fan, mosquito gadgets, fresh water, plus gorgeous blankets for cool nights. We provide complimentary tea/coffee, all linen, bath and swimming towels, and shower soap catering for sensitive skins. We cater for our Baby Guests too since they also deserve the full treatment incl a comfy travel cot with mosquito net.

Guests at The View have 24/7 access to Wi-Fi and the indoor entertainment area with a dartboard, full-size snooker table, small library and lounge area with DStv. Being self catering, we've provided a fully equipped kitchen with two fridge-freezers, gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, Nespresso and filter coffee machines (pls bring your own pods/coffee grounds) smoothie maker and Soda Stream (excl syrup). Guests can choose between a mobile Weber for an outdoor/garden braai, or the undercover built-in wood and gas braais on the patio, which also sports a TV - a perfect spot in all weather. Pack a swimming costume and enjoy a day, or sundowner, around the pool, or simply sit and soak up the morning sun or nighttime peace wherever you choose.

Feel free to walk the farm and view a wide variety of animals, insects, birds, bats and barn owls, all of which frequently visit, nest or roost near our home. For some family fun, let the littlies cast a line into our private little dam and perhaps catch a Tilapia.
