The View Albert Falls is located overlooking Albert Falls Dam and the Karkloof Hills. The property offers three independent self-catering farm cottages suitable for guests seeking a relaxed and convenient stay.
The View Garden Cottage accommodates 4 to 5 guests with 2 double en-suite bedrooms and a mini lounge that can be used as a family suite with extra stretchers for children. The cottage includes Wi-Fi, an indoor entertainment area with a full-size snooker table, DStv in the lounge and outdoors, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster, Nespresso and filter coffee machines, and a SodaStream. Outdoor facilities include a mobile Weber braai, gas and wood braais on a covered patio, a pool, and a private enclosed veranda. No pets are allowed.
The Cottage sleeps 4 to 5 guests and is situated 200 m from the main homestead. It features 2 small double bedrooms, one shower room, one bathroom, and a sofa bed for a child. The kitchenette has a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove and oven, kettle, toaster, and filter coffee machine. Both indoor and outdoor dining areas, gas and wood braais, open parking, and Wi-Fi are available. No pets are allowed.
Maflute’s cottage is pet-friendly and located near the shed. It accommodates 6 guests in 3 double bedrooms, each with its own shower room, plus a sofa bed for one child. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove and oven, kettle, toaster, and filter coffee machine. Outdoor living includes a braai and dining area, a fenced garden, undercover parking, and Wi-Fi. Pets are allowed by arrangement only.
All cottages have fans, mosquito repellents, extra blankets, tea and filter coffee supplies with milk, linen, bath towels, shower soap, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, a daily supply of ice and wood, and a baby travel cot is available on request. The farm setting offers views in every direction and opportunities to observe local wildlife such as buck, zebra, gecko, bats, and owls.
The property is fully solar- and gas-powered, and encourages mindful energy use. Portable air conditioners, humidifiers, fireworks, heavy machinery, and any form of shooting are not permitted.
Local activities include wildlife viewing, birdwatching and hiking.
