There was no electricity and no backup. We were told by the cleaner that there would be hot water via the gas systems, but the water was ice cold. The ceilings had cobwebs. There were no towels available.

A magical little spot at the end of a quiet road.

We had a wonderful time at ThelJean. Anne, the housekeeper, is so helpful and we could buy firewood directly from her. Be sure to take extra blankets and maybe your own heaters in winter as the cold comes in through the windows and doors - a proper berg cottage! We loved it. The kitchen is open-plan, so the images are not the same. But the place is even better in person. A wonderful, big lawn for kids to play. And the little bar area was just perfect!
