Perfect for a quick overnight in Cape Town.

Everything was great. We only needed accommodation for one night, and for that it was perfect (obviously would be nice for an extended stay as well). The room was nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed. Exactly what we needed and great value for money. Thanks to the hosts!

My kuier was eersteklas. Ek was baie gelukkig in my kamer en geen disruptions.

Die verblyf was absoluut fantasties, rus vir my gemoed en veilig.

Oulike plek - sentraal geleë en netjies. Dis nie 'n B&B nie, maar daar is 'n gemeenskaplike kombuis met oorgenoeg geriewe om vir jouself iets te maak. In die Kaap eet mense in elk geval uit by al die lieflike plekke.

Won't be back.

Lovely room, yet the floor in the room corner is collapsing underfoot. Noise levels from the main home are not acceptable; all can be heard through the walls, including staff shouting to friends who stayed the night. Bar fridge rates are excessively high (bottle of water R40).

Het ons tydjie geniet. Kamer het alles wat nodig is, skoon en netjies!

Pragtige gastehuis, verskriklik netjies en hulle gee definitief aandag aan detail. Die warmwatersakkie, haardroër, kamerjasse is 'n bonus. Kon my ook verkyk aan die pragtige dekor. Baie vriendlike Happy wat ons verwelkom het.

Stay was very good thanks & we'll come again. Front doorbell does not work, and it would be good to have a shelf in the bathroom for our toiletries. Also, it would be good to have one in the shower as well. I note that your trees discharge sap over the cars, which is difficult to get off, but there is not much you can do about that.

Was okay. Lovely area.

The room needs better curtains that are easier to close every day. It needs a long mirror. The coffee in the room was old and hard, and I didn't feel comfortable going into the main kitchen; it seemed like I wasn't allowed. The bar fridge was lovely. Needs a drawer for clothes as one rack to hang isn't enough.

We called and emailed to extend the accommodation, just to be told on Saturday morning to leave the property. This was after we had called and emailed, and were told they would make arrangements to extend the accommodation. Very inconvenient and unprofessional. Won't recommend this place.

Ruim, goed toegeruste kamer, veilge parkeerplek vir die motor, goeie diens en 'n lekker kuier voor die kaggelvuur.

Gerieflik, puik diens.

Happy buig agteroor om sy kliente gemaklik en gelukkig te hou.

Perfect for our purposes.

The greatest asset of Thelma & You is a man called Happy. He keeps the place immaculate, cooks up a wonderful breakfast, and is always friendly and helpful. We felt that a few things need attention: there was no bottle opener or corkscrew - we assume that a previous guest made off with them. They need to be replaced. The ironing board needs to be replaced, or at least the cover needs replacing. The waste bin in bedroom three is broken and needs to be replaced. There is a "Nespresso" machine, but we waited days before pods were provided (we had to buy our own). These are all minor things and can be easily fixed. Collectively, they do let the establishment down a bit. On balance, though, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Adequate for what we required.

Naam en nommer van bestuurder bestaan nie. Ek wou hom kontak. Happy, by die gastehuis, weet ook nie van so 'n persoon nie.

Verblyf was wonderlik, die parkering was net baie ongeriefliklik.

Drie voertuie op 'n stadium en voertuie moes kort-kort geruil word vir die in en uit gaan. Was nogal baie ongerieflik. Verder was alles super en die personeellid was profesioneel en uiters bekwaam.

Gerieflik.

Die parkeerplek was net te min vir al die gaste.
