Thesen Islands

Convenient, comfortable and relaxing.

We were travelling for a wedding so didn't spend much time at the unit but it was great for what we needed. The location was great, beds were comfortable and a fabulous coffee machine.

Fantastic central and beautiful location.

Beautiful early morning walks and afternoon kayaks along Thesen Island Canals. Stunning shops, restaurants and the best coffee shop ever at Thesen Harbour Town. Security is impressive.

Lekker gebly in pragtige eenheid.

Blyplek was gerieflik en naby aan waar ons wou wees. Dankie vir die goeie en vriendelike diens.

Beautiful setting, ideal location.

Thesen Island is a beautiful destination if you want to be close to the centre of Knysna. The house was comfortable, all mod cons and more. The photos doesn't quite capture the beauty of the place. On the edge of the water with beautiful views and lots of birdlife. The added security is a wonderful extra so you always feel safe and secure.

We stayed at Thesen Island in March/April 2022. Beautiful location, convenient and secure.

While the location was lovely, the amenities need some attention. The house can accommodate 6 people, but there are only two single-person kayaks and two oars. The third kayak has no plugs and sank when we were in it! The bathroom needs a good clean and the toilet seat needs to be changed. Providing a clean sugar container and at least two dishwasher pills would go a long way. No kitchen scourer left either. The house attendant also arrived to start cleaning the house a good three quarters of an hour before we were actually due to check out, which doesn't sit well.

Pragtige, moderne en rustige huis.

Ons het 'n wonderlike vakansie gehad met ons familie en kleintjies. Die agterste dek het 'n hekkie wat oopsluit en trappies wat afloop na die strand. Die kinders kan lekker vuil raak en dadelik gaan bad, geen huistoe ry vanaf die see met sand orals. Die huis het ook 'n pragtige toe tuin waar kinders veilig kan speel. As jy swanger is, onthou al die badkamers is op die tweede verdieping so jy klim gereeld die trappe na die kamers. Die huis het ook baie luukshede soos ondervloerse verhitting en verhitte handdoekrelings. Die storte is baie groot en die hoofslaapkamer se badkamer het 'n bad. Die hoofslaapkamer se balkon kyk uit oor die baai en jy kan in jou bed lê en die sonsopkoms kyk. Om op die stelsel gesit te word by die sekuriteitslandgoed vat nogal 'n tydjie en jou vingerafdrukke moet ingescan word. So jy parkeer en loop almal saam na die sekuriteitskantoor met jou ID, daarna kan mens net in en uit ry en jou vinger afdruk druk.

Lovely home, safe secure location.

We had a short stay here. Location is very convenient to the town and to Thesen Island. Home is fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Checking in was a big hassle as the agents had apparently not forwarded the biometric data and IDs etc. to the security gate so this took ages to resolve which was a huge waste of time after a long day. Apart from that, all good.

Wonderlik, rustig en mooi.

Baie veilig, baie rustig en baie mooi.

Lekker, net jammer dat netheid nie 100% was nie.

Eenheid, veral die ateljee, was nie heeltemal skoon nie. Vuil vuilisdromme in ateljee, stort in badkamer in ateljee vuil, tuimeldroër vol beddegoed wat nie weggepak was nie en sakke vol vullis in binnehof wat nie verwyder is nie. Gasbraaier se gas was op so ons ons dit nie gebruik nie.

Ideale naweek-wegbreek.

Goeie ligging. Skoon, netjies en goed ingerig.
