Thyme Wellness Spa and Guesthouse is a day-and-stay spa that takes an uncompromising approach to health, well-being, and beauty. We are situated at the edge of the Tygerberg Nature Reserve. Facilities include 2 wet treatment rooms, 4 spacious treatment rooms, and a candlelit couples treatment room. Guests also have access to our two swimming pools, Jacuzzis, and steam room. We also have a sundowner deck with panoramic views over Table Bay and Table Mountain.
All rooms are superbly appointed set in a unique garden environment. The guesthouse comprises 8 luxurious en-suite rooms. All rooms have DStv as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, mini bar fridges which can be stocked on request, air-conditioning plus private off-street and secure parking. The property is secured with electric fencing, beams and is monitored by a camera system and 24 hour armed response. There is a full-time caretaker on the property 24/7.
Facilities also include Wi-Fi, a fireplace, and an honesty bar in the main lounge area, with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and Table Bay. Daily housekeeping is provided and laundry services are available. In addition, an airport shuttle service is available on request.
Being located halfway between the City of Cape Town and the various other historic wine route towns of Stellenbosch, such as Paarl and Franschoek, Thyme is ideally suited to both tourists and travelling executives. Thyme is further situated on the doorstep to the wine estates and restaurants along the Durbanville Wine Route.
