House Rules
All linen and towels are provided and there is firewood for sale.
The water is on gas and there is a small electric fridge. There is a power point in the kitchen to charge cellphones and cameras but the lighting is solar ,oil lamps and candles.
If you go out in the evening it is handy to bring a torch although there is one in the rondavel for your use.
Baardskeerdersbos only has a tiny café for the basics so its best to shop in Cape Town or Hermanus.
The drinking water is straight from the kloof and is perfectly safe however it has a tea colour and different taste that some people do not like, so perhaps bring a bottle or 2 just in case you feel the same.
