Description
Tintswalo Family Camp offers full-board accommodation and is located in the Welgevonden Game Reserve. This 40,000-hectare reserve boasts pristine bushveld and ranks amongst Southern Africa’s largest private game reserves and forms part of the only savanna biosphere reserve in the world.
Accommodation at the lodge comprises 3 suites; 1 suite contains 1 bedroom that accommodates 2 guests, the second suite contains 2 bedrooms and accommodates 4 guests and the 3rd suite comprises 3 bedrooms that can accommodate 6 guests. All the suites are equipped with comfortable beds, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower or a bath or both, with access to a private outdoor shower. In addition, each bedroom has an electronic safe to store valuables, a lounge area with tea- and coffee-making facilities and a fireplace, and ceiling fans.
Traditional South African cuisine is served in various locations around the lodge, including unforgettable boma dinners beneath the sparkling stars, or on the expansive open lodge deck; special dietary requirements can be catered for as well. Guests have access to the free Wi-Fi Internet and swimming pool, located at the main lodge area. In addition, the lodge boasts a viewing deck overlooking the nearby waterhole, a bar area, and a small gift shop.
Game drives are conducted on an open 4x4 safari vehicle with an experienced guide, equipped with radios, ponchos, and blankets as well.
