Their service is excellent, and their hospitality is something that is rare these days. The lodge is located near Rietoog. The infrastructure in the area is a bit primitive but the guest house has everything you need. I kept Henry updated on our progress along the way and I was confident he would bring help if we picked up any problems. Fortunately, it was not necessary. Best chef in town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tismaree Guestfarm. We were a family of five, including two teenagers, who stayed for one night. The warm, receptive owner went out of his way to prepare a delicious dinner for me and the family. The food was prepared quickly and it was one of the best meals I've had in Namibia. I recommend this place.

Dit is 'n oornagstop - maar dit is waar dit stop.

Ons was vriendelik ontvang maar die verblyf self kan definitief doen met verbetering. Daar was geen yskas of waaier, die krag loop ook in die aand van 'n generator af wat afgesit word soos die gaste gaan slaap (dalk rede vir geen yskas). Ons het vir 2 aande betaal en bespreek maar het besluit om eerder die 2de aand nader aan ons volgende bestemming te gaan slaap. Sal Rietoog en Tismaree ongelukkig volgende skip.

We were kindly received but the accommodation itself could definitely do with improvement. There was no fridge or fan, the power also runs in the evening from a generator which is turned off when the guests go to bed (perhaps the reason for no fridge). We paid and booked for 2 nights but decided to sleep the 2nd night closer to our next destination instead. Will Rietoog and Tismaree ship next unfortunately.
