Truly awesome, the view absolutely stunning, the apartment exceptional and value for money, also the extras like welcome sweets, tea, coffee, sugar, water and beach towels are a wonderful courtesy on the part of the owner. Tertia was very welcoming and accommodating. Loved the serenity and beauty of the entire estate.

Pleasantly greeted on arrival, taken to the room where everything was explained. We were checked in on once or twice to ensure everything was in order. Very easy entry and exit.

A lovely studio room and balcony with a magnificent view. The hosts are very friendly and once checked in they do not disturb you again. The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable.

The stay was ok. The place is beautiful and the view is awesome.

The place was beautiful and the view is awesome. But what we did not appreciate is the fact that no loud music was made on our side, but complaints were received. Talking and laughing a bit loud was also a problem because we received a knock on the door from the owner. The place was really neat and they were welcoming, but where is the privacy and the boundaries? Knowing for a fact we weren't noisy at all.

A touch of Heaven.

Staying so close to the sea and falling asleep and waking up with the soothing sound of the waves was just a perfect way to relax.

Tertia en haar eggenoot is baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Wel ons sal True North defnitief aanbeveel vir vriende en familie. Die plek is teen die see en dit is silwerskoon en baie gerieflik ingerig. Dit is ook binne 'n veilige omgewing.

Baie netjies, baie vriendelik. Lekker gebly. Al wat julle kan byvoeg is dalk 'n plek om te kan braai en miskien 'n groter wasbak insit, bietjie gesukkel om die skottelgoed te was.

Great overnight spot for a quiet getaway.

The room was smallish but well kitted out and lovely. The house is ocean fronted so the views are incredible to wake up and to have sundowners to. There is a ceiling fan but an aircon for those hot nights would be a welcome addition. You can't really access the water from Sandy Point Estate because of all the rocks so it is a drive to a find a beach to walk on.

Baie netjies en eienaars is baie vriendelik. Alles wat nodig is met mooi uitsig.

Ons is baie vriendelik ontvang deur ons gashere, hul was deurentyd behulpsaam. Ons kamer was baie mooi versier, skoon met alles wat jy nodig het. Die uitsig oor die see is pragtig. Ek sal graag weer daar wil tuisgaan.

Perfect getaway gem!

On arrival, we had a warm welcome from our host Tertia. The room was cozy, and we settled in real quick. Beach is less than 50 m away, so if you want to reminisce and relax, I will suggest you take a stroll. Overall the stay was incredible and if you're looking to have a calm and rejuvenating weekend this is the perfect getaway!

Die plekkie is baie spesiaal. Baie goed ingerig met alles wat ons nodig gehad het. Die see-uitsig is asemrowend mooi en die rustigheid 'n groot bonus vir 'n vakansieganger. Matt en Tertia is 'n wonderlike gasheer en gasvrou! Hulle het ons baie welkom laat voel vandat ons die bespreking ingesit het tot op die laaste dag van ons vakansie. Baie dankie daarvoor en ook vir die heerlike en mooi voorbereide ontbyt wat ons op ons stoepie kon geniet het. True North is voorwaar 'n sterplekkie!

Mat en Tertia gaan uit hul pad om jou te verwelkom en die kamer met sy fantastiese see-uitsig is snoesig en gepas vir 'n heerlike wegbreek. Sal True North beslis aanbeveel.

Uitstekend. Beslis vir persone wat wil rus.

Not what I perceive as self-catering.

I enjoyed the tranquillity, etc., but True North is advertise as self catering, but, in essence, it not! It does have a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, etc. but nothing in the form of what you need to actually making something hot to eat using a two plate stove or so. We could not even make breakfast there. Cooking is forbidden and you're also not allowed to braai. I did not see all this restrictions on the website, only read it when I got to the destination in a file in the room. Otherwise I would have looked for a real self catering unit. Please note that South Africans enjoy braaiing, or at least the people I associate with.

The most breathtaking views, clean, classy, comfortable unit and friendliness of owners made our stay more than worth while. Compliments to the owners. We will be back!

Ontvangs was baie hartlik en gasvry. Plek was baie skoon en alles wat ons nodig gehad het was daarin. Pragtige uitsig en heerlike rustige ontspanne plekkie. Sal dit beslis aanbeveel.

Dis 'n pragtige plek. Ongelooflike uitsig en rustig. Was uitgerus na net 3 dae. Sal enige tyd weer terug gaan.

Beste plek op St Helenabaai om te gaan rus. Netjies, veilig, beste uitsig, 40 m vanaf strand.

Vir seker die beste plek om te gaan ontspan en weg te kom vanaf die gejaag. 40 meter van die strand met die mooiste uitsig. Plek is netjies toegerus, skoon. En absoluut veilig. Sal vir seker weer daar tuisgaan.

Very peaceful!

Even from the booking stage Matt and Tertia were most helpful towards ensuring that there were not hiccups, that we were fully informed and looking forward to the trip. The rooms are adequately equipped and the view absolutely breathtaking. Not only did we have a splendid 10 day holiday, we returned feeling totally refreshed and as a bonus, have two more friends on the West Coast. We have no hesitation in strongly recommending True North as a West Coast destination. Thanks Matt and Tertia, for making it special. May God bless and keep you.

Tranquil setting right at the beach.

Tertia and Matt are perfect hosts. Even before we arrived they were very helpful with tips about the area and reserved a nice table at a local restaurant. Their welcome was great and can be proud of their gem. The rooms are very spacious and have excellent sea views - we even slept with the large sliding window open to enjoy the sound of the waves. The breakfast offered was divine and could not have been better in a 5-star guesthouse. While it was winter, the room was sufficiently heated and extra blankets were provided - so were towels on request ( we stayed 3 nights). Instant hot water in the shower and kitchenette - sufficient crockery and cutlery. Even DStv with extra foreign channels was provided - we watched 'BVN', Dutch television. We will certainly be back at this well maintained and excellent guest house.

A little piece of Paradise!

From the moment you walk in at True North, you are made to feel so welcome and at home. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with everything you could wish for. Breakfasts and dinner were scrumptious. The sea views are endless and breathtaking. The hospitality of Matt and Tertia was outstanding and what a warm, friendly, pleasant, awesome couple. My husband and I truly had a wonderful and peaceful weekend. We highly recommend True North!

A visit to Tertia and Matt, the life of True North, makes you feel special and allow you to really take in the beauty of the West Coast.

Upon arrival at True North, we were met with such heartfelt and genuine hospitality. The best part is that this is the personalities of the hosts, Matt and Tertia, it therefore didn't fade but quite the opposite is true. The rooms are extremely neat and welcoming, and all the basic requirements are there. Its clear that Matt and Tertia enjoy hosting their guests. Being only a couple of steps to the beach means you are awakened by fresh sea breeze and if arranged, an absolute awesome breakfast allows you to enjoy the view from a private balcony. Even when you are not the only guests, personal space is preserved superbly and it actually feels like you're there all on your own. It really is a worth while experience being a guest to True North.

Exactly what I expected and more. Will definitely return soon.

Na my bespreking het die eienaar my geskakkel en verseker dat my plek gereed is, en hulle sien uit na ons aankoms. Met ons aankoms was ons hartlik en vriendelik verwelkom. Ons plek was baie mooi skoon en netjies. Daar was moeite gedoen met elke ete en dit was smaaklik en mooi voorgesit. Hulle ons bederf met 'n seekos-platter. Ons het ons verblyf geniet en was heerlik uitgerus nadat ons vertrek het. Dit was gasvryheid op sy beste en sal vir seker weer hulle besoek en ook mense aanbeveel om True North te besoek. Beveel die plek aan vir almal.

Gemaklik en rustig!

Ons het 'n vreeslike lekker en rustige tyd gehad by True North. Tertia is baie vriendelik en die plek is rustig en netjies. Ook baie veilig en afgesonder wat great is met n pragtige view! Die mure is wel bietjie dun en mens kan die gaste in die kamers langsaan hoor as jy 'n laatslaper soos ek is.

Ons het baie lekker gebly, maar sou graag 'n stofie of selfs 'n enkelplaat, pan, ens. wou hê om ten minste ontbyt of 'n ligte aandete mee te maak. Selfsorg beteken vir my dat jy vir jouself moet kan sorg en dit sluit sekerlik kosmaak in. Dit is hoekom 'n mens hierdie opsie kies. 'n Mikrogolfoond en broodrooster is nie genoeg nie. Die kamer en uitsig is baie mooi en die eienaars gaaf.
