Fun and peaceful and very comfortable.

This was our 2nd time visiting. It's such a lovely place, lots to do. Hiking, cycling and sundowners. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The place and service were absolutely brilliant. Flies were insane and the smell from the 'fly traps' was horrendous.

A breathtaking, secluded retreat perfect for hiking and romance.

This lodge offers a breathtaking view of the Tugela River and is an excellent base for hiking in the Drakensberg. The units are cleaned daily, but a deeper clean with proper antibacterial detergent is needed; mopping alone isn’t enough. Ants were an issue; bio-friendly repellents could help. While the seclusion is perfect for switching off, WiFi in the cottages would be useful for emergencies or remote work. The farm stall could be better stocked with basics. The steep stairs to the twin beds are a safety hazard and should be redesigned. Despite these points, this is the most private and romantic lodge in the Okhahlamba region. A few tweaks—like fly traps on the patio and reconsidering the outdoor jacuzzi (perhaps an outdoor bath or longer design)—would elevate the experience further. Still, a stunning and peaceful retreat overall.

Amazing and restful.

A lovely place to get away and 'switch off'. Offers a great variety of activities and the view over the river is incredible. Perfect as a weekend getaway for your family and your dogs!

Baie mooi natuur.

Baie mooi ligging langs die rivier. Ons eenheid was net baie warm omdat dit solar krag gebruik en daar was geen aircons nie. Die kinders het baie lekker in die rivier vis gevang en kayak gery.
