Chalet 1 @ Uitspanoord is a self-catering unit located amongst other units, nestled on the banks of the Vaal River, and is situated in Barkly West, a quaint town off the N12 located Northwest of Kimberley.

This chalet can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The open-plan lounge consists of 4 single beds. They share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The air-conditioned unit has a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, 2-plate stove, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The unit has a TV with selected DStv channels which are controlled by the main house as well as Openview.

The unit opens up to the patio with outdoor seating and a Lapa with braai facilities. Guests can relax by the pool or the riverbank and can venture out into the deep waters on a canoe or paddle-ski.
