Description

Ukuta Private Game Reserve is situated on the R33 near Vaalwater and offers quality accommodation for a family, nature lovers or a group of friends.

The accommodation comprises 2 Deluxe Chalets which can accommodate 3 guests at a time and 2 Safari Tents that hold 2 guests at a time. The Deluxe Chalet comprises a queen-size bed and a single bed, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.

The Safari Tent comprises 2 single beds and shares ablution facilities with 1 other tent. The ablution facility has a shower, toilet and basin.

There are lovely braai facilities and a swimming pool available for guests’ use during their stay.

Ukuta boasts 2 sunken game viewing hides that allow animal and bird lovers the opportunity to get as close as 10 m from most of the plain game in the bushveld. This offers photographers an unparalleled opportunity to photograph birds drinking water 3 to 5 m away. Guests can experience the night photography in the shelters to see animals such as bush pigs, hyenas, honey badgers, civet, plains game and buffalo. Guests can even stay overnight in 1 of the shelters.

Ukuta also offers horse riding on a nearby farm, as well as private access to game drives in a Big 5 game reserve approximately a 30-minutes drive from Ukuta's base.
