Stunning. A must visit.

Amazing property with stunning views. Blissfully quiet, but also close to town and all the attractions Underberg has to offer. The property has everything you need and is modern and comfortable with a gas fireplace. We will definitely recommend this property.

Comfortable.

We just stayed for 1 night and it was perfect for us. Loved the electric blanket on the bed. Location was perfect and close to the shops. Neat and clean with a great view. Braai with charcoal was supplied if needed. The host was friendly and always responsive.

A pleasant stay with great views.

The stay was great and clean. The views were spectacular. We never had water for one day due to a pipe burst in Underberg. I would have liked to experience better service from the domestic staff or person appointed, as we never had enough toilet paper, no broom to sweep out, and no firewood, which we had to purchase. A JoJo tank would be advantageous considering the possible breakages of the infrastructure.

Despite the beautiful unit and view this was a very disappointing stay.

The accommodation is beautiful but we had a bad stay from the start. Travelling from Jo'burg was a good 7-8 hour drive. We got to Underberg after dark. We initially got lost because the pin location and address to the accommodation sent to us were wrong. We managed to find our way by looking at the bigger map from the website. It was one street up from the address given. The units are not marked. When we eventually got to the accommodation we weren't able to get into our unit as the main entrance was locked by one of the other tenants. We tried to phone the contact person for the accommodation numerous times with no luck. Sitting in the car in the dark and rain trying to get hold of someone we managed to get through to an agent who managed to get hold of the contact person for the accommodation. The tenant that locked us out of the main entrance had actually gone into the wrong unit. We booked the more expensive main house and they booked the smaller cheaper unit. As they had already used the most of facility we decided to move into the smaller unit for the weekend. It felt like no one was prepared for our arrival even though the units were booked out months in advance for this specific weekend due to the Sani Stagger race. There was moulded cheese and old, hard polony in the fridge, only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and it looked like someone had a shower before we arrived as the shower floor was still very wet. After a long day and a race the next day we just wanted to go to bed. Imagine our surprise the next morning when we woke up to no gas in the house for coffee or oats. This is totally unacceptable as they knew all the units were booked out for the weekend. The owner of the unit got a gas company and cleaner out the next day but this should have been done before our arrival. I was promised to be compensated for staying in the cheaper unit but I haven't received any refund. Despite the beautiful unit and view this was a very disappointing stay.
