It was so lovely to stay at Upper Houghton Guesthouse.

We were so warmly welcomed and assisted with our luggage. The room is very spacious and neat with a lovely view of the outside pool. The breakfast was delicious and provided a wide variety of options. Will definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

Warm and welcome atmosphere.

Stayed over at Upper Houghton Guesthouse due to us running the Soweto Marathon and using it as a breakaway weekend. Marcus went absolutely out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Breakfast was divine and just loved the warm atmosphere and meeting the family. Thank you, Marcus, for spoiling us. I am so glad we got to meet you and your beautiful princess Hannah. We will definitely contact you again if we need a place to stay.

Marcus is very hands-on and absolutely willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We had a very pleasant stay. Marcus is an absolute gem. It is an old but beautiful house inside. The garden needs a bit of tidying up but other than that we had a lovely stay and an excellent Breakfast. If you are looking for silence and tranquility, that is the perfect place to be!
