Stunning view, comfortable and homely feel and top notch hosting.

We absolutely fell in love with Verkijken cottage! We felt immediately at home and the host was an incredible host, making sure we had everything we needed. The view was also stunning! Would definitely go back.

I had sent a message before your arrival about the water pressure on the farm - rural water pressure is not town water pressure. We suggest using the shower when the kitchen taps are off. We are not able to use electric pumps to increase the water pressure in the shower because the load-shedding and power outages prevent that from being a working solution. We continue to work on the water pressure issue in the shower. However, my thoughts are 'just sit outside on the stoep and enjoy the views and the birdlife. One doesn't get that in town!' Relaxing and beautiful!

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The place was very clean and neat. A very comfortable stay and the view from the cottage is incredible. I would highly recommend this place. The staff were very helpful and it was such a bonus for the place to be serviced daily.
