Description
Villa Charmara is located on the eastern side of the coastal town of Still Bay, a short distance away from the Goukou River.
The historic house has been renovated in 2015 and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 adults and 4 children. The house comprises 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. There are 2 rooms that also have a bunk bed set for children and double beds. All bathrooms are fitted with showers. Linen is provided and towels if guests stay for 5 or more nights. However, guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery as well as a dishwasher. The laundry room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The front living area opens up onto a lovely patio area that has outdoor seating and overlooks the garden. Another entertainment area, the original garage, is available at the back, featuring a fire pit and indoor braai.
The property is 270 m from the river and 2 km from the main swimming beach. Activities in the area include swimming, fishing, bird watching and hiking. Still Bay's Blue Flag-status beach is close for a variety of activities and the harbour offers the opportunity for deep-sea fishing.
