Wonderlike huis met goeie fasiliteite.

Villa del Mar was 'n wonderlike ondervinding vir ons. Die huis was groter en mooier as wat ons verwag het, en het 'n wonderlike vloei gehad. Die huis was modern en die swembad, jacuzzi en elektroniese media fasiliteite was wonderlik. Halfpad deur ons verblyf het die eienaar ons gekontak om te hoor of alles reg is aan ons kant, en ons het dit baie waardeer. Ons sal die huis sterk aanbeveel.

Lieflike villa het alles.

Mooi moderne plek, heerlike geriewe en goeie kommunikasie. Sal vir seker aanbeveel, groot kombuis, binnebraai, swembad en jacuzzi was wenners.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The owner was exceptionally accommodating, and the process was effortless.

We had a lovely weekend at Villa Del Mar. There were one or two snags, but Laurence was great and responded immediately.

The cleaning service did not provide toilet rolls in the house, but Laurence has undertaken to speak to them about this. He has also agreed to attend to the Jacuzzi which did not reach optimum temperature. It would also be helpful if there were a few more cleaning aids in the kitchen - perhaps a mop and some good quality washing up liquid.

Villa del Mar is a stunning house, however there were a few downfalls after arrival.

The outdoor lights where the pool and jaccuzzi are situated do not work, so we hardly sat outside at night because it was way too dark. Too little dirt bags and toilet rolls were given for the number of days we had booked for. There is an alarm that was very complicated. The jaccuzzi wasn't heating up, I contacted the landlord and a video was sent, and we eventually got it right. The main heated pool was cold for the 4 days we spent there. We received a long email after payments had been made with rules and regulations which some I was okay with and others that were not to my liking.

From the beginning when the owner mixed up the booking dates and we had to check in a day late, this experience was a disaster.

The owner confirmed with website our change of dates but the day before when he sent an sms I realised he had us checking in a day late. The address on the website says 122 Disa Road but the house is at 3996 Disa Road. I had to request a location. The house is nice but had not been cleaned properly. There were no cleaning products available, an old mop and no bucket to use with the mop. 1 toilet roll per toilet and 6 dishwasher tabs for 8 people - 6 days. The first evening the gas ran out while I was cooking dinner with food on the stove. When I messaged the owner he said he would come and check in the morning. When I replied that I was cooking dinner his reply was "Excuse me!". The spa pool went green and the outside rubbish bin was so full that we had nowhere to put our rubbish bags. When I messaged the owner his reply was sorry the house is not serviced and that we have to buy our own cleaning products. The day before check out was stage 6 loadshedding and the morning of check out the power was off until 8am. It was impossible to check out by 10am and get all of the dishes done, house cleaned and packed. The owner complained that I had not requested a late check out and sent harassing messages while we were busy trying to pack and clean up. I would not recommend this house to anyone wanting a hassle free holiday. Most of the the kitchen things are either broken or missing parts, the inside and outside furniture is stained and the neighbours were partying until the early hours of the morning.

Tranquil, such a spoil to just get away from the hustle and buzz of the city.

The house was big and spacious, very tech savvy. There is more than enough space for 8 people. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the property was safe for our small dog.

Die eienaar van Villa del Mar het ons baie goed ontvang. Laurence is 'n fantastiese host ons sal definitief weer die Villa gaan besoek. Hy is altyd beskikbaar en baie tegemoedkomend. Die huis is awesome, die weer het net nie lekker saam gespeel sodat ons van die swembad kon gebruik maak nie. Alles was net awsome, meer as wat ons verwag. Weerens dankie Laurence ons sien gou-gou weer.

Spacious and comfortable.

The house is perfect for a winter or summer getaway and a bonus that pets are allowed. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic and relaxing. Really felt like a destination where you can bring overseas travellers.

The most valuable part of the entire stay is that the house was even better in real life than on the pictures.

Fantastiese huis, met besondere goeie kommunikasie en gasvryheid!

Wat 'n wonderlike kort vakansie het hierdie huis ons gegee. Soveel so, dat ons skaars die huis wou verlaat. Ons was 7 vriende en familie saam en almal praat nou nog oor die huis. Lekker geswem en die hot tub is beslis daai extra added touch. En die mooiste. Sonsondergang van beide balkonne. Lawrence, baie dankie vir jou gasvryheid en topkwaliteit diens. Niks was vir jou 'n probleem om uit te sorteer, al was dit hoe klein. Ons sal beslis weer terug wees! 10 uit 10!

Spacious house that can accommodate the whole family. Felt pampered and relaxed spending time in the pool and jacuzzi.

From the moment you walk into the spacious house with it's stackable doors that open up to the pool and jacuzzi area, you start to feel relaxed. All the rooms are spacious and can easily accommodate a large group. I thoroughly enjoyed the choice of the various coffee machines which turned out a big hit in the mornings. The host, Lawrence, was friendly and we will definitely be going back.

Perfect getaway, great facilities.

Pet friendly, just requires a smart TV downstairs.

Absoluut 'n fantastiese plek vir 'n lekker wegbreek, waarde vir jou geld.

By die Jacuzzi kan miskien 'n afdak kom vir as dit reën kan mens nog altyd die Jacuzzi gebruik, andersins sal ek die plek vir enige een aanbeveel, alles is daar en baie gerieflik, fantastiese vakansieplek.

Wonderful holiday home right near the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Mar. Beautiful appliances, especially the coffee machine. The jacuzzi was really so relaxing with top quality jets. The overall place was very well equipped with very comfortable beds. Lots of space for a large group. We experienced load shedding and Lawrence immediately helped us out and ensured we had sufficient lighting. Fantastic host. The house is one road away from the beach and the penguin colony is less than 300m away. A absolute must see. I highly recommend this accommodation in Betty's bay. 5/5 rating.

Casa Del Mar is a beautiful home perfect with all amenities needed for the perfect stay for a large family.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my family and friends at Casa del Mar and we will definitely be frequenting this venue.

Super chilled and close to the beach. The house is beautiful and has everything you need and more. Our hosts were super and we will definitley be back for a nother stay! Highly recommended!

Met ons aankoms by die vakansiehuis was ons aangenaam verras. Dit het alles gebied wat beloof was en nog meer. Die huis was baie netjies en ruim met meer as genoeg ruimte vir lekker kuier en ontspan. Die Jacuzzi was beslis een van ons gunstelingplekke om te ontspan. 'n Afdakkie oor die Jacuzzi sou dalk oorweeg kon word, sodat mens dit nogsteeds kan gebruik, al reën dit ook, soos wat by ons die geval was. Die toegang tot Netflix en DStv Now was ook 'n lekker bonus (en jy kon TV kyk terwyl jy deur die skuifdeur van die balkon nog steeds die see kan sien en hoor). Nie net is die kombuis ten volle toegerus nie, maar was van die volgende ook voorsien: koffie, tee en suiker ('n Nespresso-masjien en koffiemasjien, waarvan laasgenoemde gevul was met koffiebone), skoonmaakmiddels, wasmasjien met waspoeier en 'n skottelgoedwasser. Die 3 badkamers was voorsien van handdoeke, toiletpapier en handewasmiddels. Die gasheer was veral baie gasvry en akkommoderend en ons kon hom enige tyd via WhatsApp kontak met vrae of kwessies. Die enigste kwessie wat ons gehad het was die WiFi wat die Saterdag bietjie probleme gegee het (weet nie of die weer dalk 'n rol gespeel het nie). Ter opsomming, ons, as familie, het heerlik gekuier en sal die vakansiehuis beslis aanbeveel vir persone wat lus is vir 'n lekker luukse wegbreek.
