Description
Visarend's Roep is in Marloth Park which borders the southern part of the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga. Marloth Park is known for the fact that giraffes, kudus, zebras, blue wildebeest, warthogs, impalas, duikers, bushbucks and many other small game regularly move between the houses. Marloth Park also boasts lovely sunsets over the river, the roar of the lions in the Kruger National Park in the background and the characteristic call of the osprey.
Accommodation is available in a two-bedroom self-catering house with a loft area. The house sleeps 8 guests, including children, preferably 4 adults and 4 children, but a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children can be accommodated. There are 2 bedrooms with air conditioning and each has a double bed. The loft area has a double bed and 2 single beds. This area leads to a wooden deck with a beautiful view of the unspoiled nature. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin.
Linen and towels are provided, but guests must bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, pots, pans, tea and coffee-making facilities, cutlery and crockery. The lounge area has comfortable seating and a TV. Guests must please bring their own decoder and smart card.
Outside there is a lovely veranda with a built-in braai where guests can sit around the fire pit and watch the starry night, or frolic in the pool.
Note that this is a conservation area and no noise is allowed. The house is ideal for nature lovers who want to enjoy the tranquility of Marloth Park.
Marloth Park boasts a whole host of activities such as walking, swimming, game drives and 4x4 routes. The Henk van Rooyen campsite has a tennis court and a swimming pool. There is also a water park at the Bush Center where the whole family can have fun. Guests can bring their mountain bikes to explore the trails, or go for a walk along the fence.
Marloth Park has 2 shopping centers that cater to all guests' basic needs. Shops in the centers include a butcher, grocery store, gas station and restaurants.
