The Volksrust Battlefields Lodge is an upmarket guest lodge offering a welcoming and homely environment for both business and leisure travellers, visiting the beautiful town of Volksrust and surrounding areas. Volksrust is situated in the Mpumalanga Grass and Wetlands region. The serene region is in the south eastern part of Mpumalanga and shares its borders with Swaziland, KwaZulu-Natal and the Free State province.
Accommodation is offered in 14 Standard Room and 8 Self-catering Rooms. Each tastefully decorated room contains a hotel quality bed, with king or twin options, an en-suite bathroom, Wi-Fi internet access, and a TV with a selection of DStv channels. Each room opens to a covered patio with outdoor seating.
In the morning you can enjoy a delightful optional English breakfast, served in the lovely modern dining room. Dinner or lunch packs and braai packs are available on request.
The lodge offers a cosy pub, and a large dining room. Outside the pub area there is a shaded deck overlooking a beautiful bass dam. A big-screen TV for those important sporting events. A tea garden and braai facilities are available. Conference facilities are available for up to 150 delegates.

The beautiful and historical town of Volksrust has much to offer all visitors including bird watching, hiking, 4x4 and quad-biking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, museums and battlefield tours.
