Description
Voorbegin Lodge is situated on the banks of the Vaal River, just outside Bothaville in the Free State, offering a haven of peace and breathtaking scenery. The establishment can accommodate either small or large groups, families or couples. It also caters for weddings, birthdays and other festive occasions.
Accommodation comprises in a log home, 6 cabins, Ox Wagons Camps, and a River House.
The log cabins are situated next to the dam and comprise 6 units, all fitted with en-suite bathrooms. These units offer breathtaking sunset views and are ideal for nature lovers and bird watchers in particular.
The Ox Wagon Camp is furnished with antique furniture and offers a more historical feel. The camps have access to a communal kitchen, boma braai, a dining area and ablution facilities.
The River House is situated on the banks of the river, perfectly suited for fishing enthusiasts. This unit comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which can accommodate up to 8 guests. Other in-room facilities include an equipped kitchen, dining and living room with DStv and air-conditioning.
The log home can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, and a spacious kitchen, dining and living area.
The Tented Camps comprises 4 bedrooms and is suited for 2 guests each. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower. The kitchen has a fridge and a microwave as well as tea-and-coffee making facilities.
The Sekelbos Rooms can accommodate up to 2 guests, and comprises a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet.
