Vrede Fountain House Farm Stay offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a 3-bedroom home situated on a fourth-generation working Karoo farm, 42 km from the town of Graaff-Reinet (of which 20 km is a graded dirt road). With no Wi-Fi or cell signal, this is the ideal spot to relax and unwind in a tranquil environment with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a lounge and dining area. The first bedroom contains a double bed and 1 single bed, the second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The spacious kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stove, and a fridge, and features a breakfast bar. The living area comprises a 6-seater dining table and chairs, and a lounge area leading out onto a lovely deck with views of surrounding nature.

Guests can go walking in the veld, do some bird watching or take a swim in the river below the house. The deck, with outdoor furniture, is the ideal spot to relax with a book or enjoy the view.

At Vrede Fountain House there is no reception/check-in office and guests will need to find their own way to the house. Precise directions will be sent prior to arrival. De Vrede Farm is located in an access-controlled conservancy; guests will be provided with access codes on the day of arrival.
