Woodlands beach villa met a quite select criteria that I needed for my stay.

4 bedrooms with comfortable double beds, 3 nice bathrooms with modern fittings, a pool with safety net and a garden that was accessible for the kids to safely play in and beach access in easy walking distance. The place was lovely, clean and homey. The kitchen was really well stocked with every utensil you could require. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was excellent. The housekeeper is very friendly and punctual and efficient with cleaning. The beach is beautiful and almost private. There are plug protectors and a safety gate at the top of the stairs. There's a lock up garage that can fit two cars and others within the gated area. The negatives are that there are additional costs not advertised on the website that are required by the owner for cleaning and linen and a breakage deposit. R850 and R200 per day. The WiFi was not in working order. The connection was poor. All told it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would hope to visit again.
