Yardley Cottage

Clean, comfortable and restful.

It was an ideal stopover between Kynsna & Joburg. The house is clean, well equipped and has lots of extras like homemade rusks, firewood, dishwasher tablets etc. Check-in was easy. Annetjie & Vaughn were both friendly & helpful. We would have enjoyed some more time there and will definitely check if it's available the next time we're travelling that route.

Pragtig en rustig.

Ons is so vriendelik ontvang, die huis was skoon en uiters netjies. Ons het so tuis en gemaklik gevoel na 10 ure op die pad van die Weskus af. My ouers het die oudhede in die huis so geniet. Baie dankie julle dit was heerlik op die plaas.

What a stunning place!

Wow, the photos just don't do this beautiful spot justice. So worth the extra 20 min or so from Colesberg. The perfect spot to stop on our way back to Joburg, with lots of space and a nice braai and in the words of my daughter "our very own windmill". Yardley Cottage is so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, the perfect mix of modern comforts with beautiful antique furniture. Annekie was a wonderful host.

The most beautiful overnight venue in Colesberg.

The photos does not do this Cottage justice. Was pleasantly surprised with this gem in Colesberg. Quite, clean, comfortable and best stopover when traveling with doggy children.

Very comfortable and quiet farm setting.

Fully enclosed for our animals. The house has everything you require. Hosts are wonderful! A very charismatic farm house, and a wonderful stay. The hosts were incredible. We arrived after 21h00 due to our tyre blowing out and having delays. They were very responsive and accommodating. We will be back!

Afgelee oase-bestemming. Die grondpad was baie goed, ontvangs uitstekend en die verblyf beter as verwag.

Waar kry jy 'n badkamer met 'n glasmuur wat oor die vlakte uitkyk? Alles was skoon en netjies. Rus vir die siel met die uitgestrekte Karoo rondom jou. Die beurtkrag bly 'n uitdaging maar gesonde boereverstand maak 'n plan. Anniekie het heerlike kos voorberei. Beslis aan te beveel vir halfpad oorbly. Ons het baie lekker gekuier.
