Description
Die Pioniershuis is a replica of the historic lifestyle of earlier settlers and trek farmers. The small stone house has two bedrooms, a main room with a king-size bed with a sitting room and a en suite-room with two single beds. The kitchenette has a Dover stove and beautiful antique kitchenware. Farm food like green bean stew and pumpkin fritters are delivered to the stone house in the evening. The "bathhouse" is a few steps outside the kitchen and has a beautiful view over the Karoo hills. There is an antique ash bush boma and braai area under the Karoo stars at night. This small house is a treasure for nostalgic travelers.
