Nestled in the picturesque Eastern Free State, located between Ficksburg and Ladybrand, Zuikerkop Country Game Lodge offers an oasis of tranquility, and is a popular Wedding and Conference venue. We can accommodate 58 guests in beautifully appointed chalets and rondavels.
Our upmarket restaurant, outdoor boma with bar and braai facilities, and a luxurious day spa provides guests with the perfect African retreat. Guests will need to make bookings for the restaurant, spa and game drives at least 2 day's beforehand.
A perfectly landscaped garden with gazebo in beautiful surroundings, is ideal for outdoor weddings and our charming chapel provides for a cozy and intimate wedding ceremony. We offer 3 reception venues, hosting between 50 and 200 guests, all with spectacular views to ensure a natural backdrop. We also offer Backpackers for up to 40 people.
Our state-of the art conference center boasts the latest in graphic projection hardware and can comfortably seat up to 40 delegates.
Other activities include nature picnics, swimming pool, game viewing, birdwatching with over 200 species, fishing, mountain biking, please bring your own bike, or walk the marvelous hiking trails. We also offer team building activities for your company.
