Description
The Beaufort West Museum is a wonderful attraction situated in the historic town of Beaufort West, Western Cape. The museum consists of 3 buildings, namely The Parsonage, Mission Church, and Old Town Hall Museum, which was the very first town hall to be established in the country. Today, the museum houses a collection of Professor Chris Barnard’s awards, honorary degrees, diplomas, and gifts received from around the world after he performed the first heart transplant in 1967.
