Birkenhead Brewery lies on the Walkerbay Estate outside Stanford, a charming village in the Western Cape. It is the first wine and brewing estate in the Southern Hemisphere and has plenty to offer for the wine and beer enthusiast. Situated approximately halfway between Hermanus and Gansbaai, visitors can enjoy delicious food, freshly home-brewed beer, and quality wine tasting at this beautiful country estate.

The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday and offers truly spectacular views of the Klein River Mountains. Both the restaurant and bar provide a laid back atmosphere, pub style meals, and fantastic homemade beer, wine, and water. Please note that special rates can be organised for large groups including a tour, taste, and lunch package.
