Brits Airfield

Description

Brits Airfield is a rural airfield situated in Brits, in the North West province of South Africa. The airfield consists of one asphalt runway, surrounded entirely by vegetation. Although no scheduled flights are available, a number of private charter jets offer flights to and from the airport. The airport is a base for the Brits Flying Club which is one of the oldest and most respected flying clubs in South Africa. Having operated since 1952, the club has produced top sportsman and trained many people in the art of flying small aircraft.
