Description
Greenside High School is a co-ed public high school in Greenside, Johannesburg. The school caters for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Listed as the Top Public School in Gauteng in 2007, Greenside High School is one of the top feeder schools for Wits University.
HERITAGE
Greenside High School opened its doors for the first time on 30 January 1961 with 300 students and Dr E Hudson as the headmaster.
ACADEMICS
The 2014 Matrics achieved a 96% pass rate. The school motto is Honor. Modestia. Sapientia which means “Honour. Modesty. Wisdom”.
