Whether you've never been on a horse before or toughened by the saddle, the experienced horse riding instructor at Heaven and Earth Trails will guide you on our standard trails which takes you through fynbos, wild flowers and beautiful mountain scenery. Water and snacks are provided on all trails to keep you going. Duration of trails vary from 1 to 4 hours and can be tailor made to suit your specific needs.

Please note: All trails are subject to weather conditions. Weight limit of 100kg per rider. It’s advised that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes, riding hats will be supplied.

1) Standard Trail Our standard trail is a 90 minute ride on our farm. It includes scenic mountain and ocean views and is suitable for all levels of riding. Cost: R450 per person

2) Wine Trail Join us on a wine tasting excursion from the stables and to two wine estates. This trail takes a bit longer and is for riders that are more experienced and comfortable with a trot and canter. The duration is 3 hours. Cost: R700 per person

3) Enduro Ok so you are horse riding fit! Come do a 30km trail. Mostly canter and trot. Only for the very experienced rider. Options include riding through the whole of the lower Hemel and Aarde Valley including rotary road or riding to Fisherhaven to look for the wild horses. Duration 2½ hours. Cost: R650 per person
