Description

Humansdorp Provincial Hospital is an 80 bed public hospital situated in Humansdorp, Eastern Cape. The hospital forms part of the Kouga Partnership hospital, which is a merge of Humansdorp Provincial hospital and Life Isivivana Private Hospital. The merge allows the private sector to operate a private ward and share some facilities such as the theatres and maternity unit with the State, and in return the private sector upgraded the existing State-run section of the Hospital.

GETTING THERE

The hospital is situated at the corner of Du Plessis and Nico Malan Streets in Humansdorp, Eastern Cape. Nico Malan Street is off the R102 (Voortrekker Road) running through Humansdorp. Humansdorp is located 14km West of Jeffrey’s Bay on the R102 and 18.5km North of St. Francis Bay on the R330.

PAYMENT

Humansdorp Hospital is a provincial hospital, and services are free to pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as children under the age of six years old. Other citizens are charged according to a sliding scale depending on their income.
