The hospital is situated in Voortrekker Road in Laingsburg, Western Cape. The nearest main road is the N1 to the South of the hospital. Laingsburg is located 158km North-East of Worcester along the N1 highway and 115km North-West of Ladismith along the R323.

Laingsburg hospital is a public hospital and therefore services are free to pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under the age of six years old and pensioners. Other patients are charged a consultation and/or admission fee.
