Lone Creek Falls
Description
Lone Creek Falls is a 70m high waterfall found along the “Waterfall Tour†on the Panorama Route, Mpumalanga. This waterfall creates a a mist which enables the growth of many ferns and mosses.
Other waterfalls on the tour include the Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, MacMac Falls, Maria Shires Falls, Lisbon Falls, and the Berlin Falls. This roundtrip of under 100km shows the best waterfalls in this old gold-mining region. Situated along the escarpment of the Drakensberg mountains, this region has a higher density of waterfalls than anywhere else in Southern Africa.
