Long Tom Pass
Description
The Long Tom Pass is a road located between Lydenburg and Sabie in Mpumalanga. This road was originally a wagon road, and, in some places, marks made by the metal-rimmed wheels can still be found on the rocks.
Don’t forget to check out the Long Tom Monument that honours the last use of the Boer 155mm Creusot Long Tom guns during the Second Boer War, around 21km from Sabie.
