Lourensford Wine Estate is a magnificent wine estate tucked away in the fertile bowl of the Helderberg Mountains in Somerset West. With 4,000 beautifully landscaped hectares of stunning estate gardens filled with over 130 hectares of vines, Lourensford is fast becoming one of the most sought after wine estates in the country. Visitors can look forward to spectacular gardens on the drive in to the estate, followed by fantastic wine tasting and tours.

Start the day off with breakfast at The Millhouse Kitchen, or a steaming cuppa at the Coffee Roasting Company, before heading over to the wine tasting centre. Here, you can enjoy wine tasting indoors or at picnics tables on the lawns, surrounded by magnificent mountain views, water features, and boastful peacocks. Wine tastings can be paired with chocolate, and we definitely recommend trying the honey liqueur! A quick chat with the sommelier will reveal that you can purchase boutique cheeses and olives from the wine cellar, and they will happily chop it up and serve it to you with your wine should you so request.
