Mkuzi Game Reserve
Description
Mkuze Game Reserve, also called uMkhuze Game Reserve, is a wonderful game reserve famous for its excellent bird and wildlife watching opportunities. The Mkuze River curves along the reserve’s eastern and northern borders with riverine forests etched along its banks, adding to the variety of natural habitats, from the eastern slopes of the Lebombo mountains and sand forest, to expanses of acacia savannah and swamps.
Mkuze has 4 game viewing hides, which are known for the many close encounters they provide between visitors and the local game. Over 420 bird species have been recorded.
