Protea Farm is a lovely farm situated in the famous Koo Valley, just 29km from Montagu in the heart of the scenic Route 62. The tractor trips on Protea Farm have become so well known as a tourist attraction in South Africa, drawing locals and tourists from all over the country.

The exciting tractor trips ascend the Langeberg Mountain in Montagu, until finally reaching a height of 1,500m above sea level. On the way up, you can enjoy exceptional views of the Koo Valley, and Robertson Valley from the top. Once you reach the tip, a mountain hut awaits where you can enjoy a warm drink of sherry before descending the mountain again.
