HERITAGE
Pridwin Preparatory School was founded in 1923 in Winkelspruit, KwaZulu-Natal, by Captain and Mrs Claude Janion with just 6 students. Captain Janion served in the East Surrey Regiment during the First World War and won the DSO at the Battle of Somme. He chose the colours of his regiment for the Pridwin school tie. The school was named after King Arthur’s ship Pridwyn. In 1934, the school relocated to its current site in Gauteng.
